This number is equal to the number of people who will be using the software, or the number of computers the software will be installed on, whichever is greater. If more than one person will be using the software at the same time, such as in a company setting, you should purchase a Multi-User license, by entering more than 1 in the Number of Users box above. If you are the only person using the software, you can activate your license on up to three (3) machines, for your own personal use. Can I use my license on my other machines? You may wait as long as you want before renewing. If you wish to install and use updates released after your update period, you must renew your license for one or more years via the renewal page.
After that, you'll always have access to the last version released before your free update period expired (there will be a download link on the renewal page). When you purchase a license, you also get access to one year of free updates, starting from your date of purchase.
